4 Snacks That Disappear Before Halftime 🏈

Hi friends! πŸ‘‹

Football is back, and I could not be more ready. My fantasy draft is today, which means I'll be sitting at my kitchen table with a snack in one hand and a list of players I barely researched. That's how it goes every year. I overthink the first two rounds and then start picking guys because I like their names.

But the food? The food I take seriously. Here's what I'm putting out this season.

🫘 Hot Bean Dip with Ground Beef
Warm, hearty, and scoopable. This is the one that empties out before the second quarter, so make a double batch.

🌢️ Alabama Fire Crackers
Saltines that soak overnight in seasoned oil and come out addictive. Zero cooking. You just shake the bag and walk away.

πŸ₯š Deviled Egg Dip
All the flavor of deviled eggs without the piping and the fiddling. Grab a chip and go.

πŸ‡ Grape Jelly and Chili Sauce Meatballs
Sweet, tangy, and a little bit ridiculous in the best way. Three ingredients and a slow cooker.

Thanks for being here, friends. Tell me what's on your game day table this year. I'm always looking for one more thing to add to mine.

Warmly,

❀️ Heidi (aka Lulu)

Hi friends! πŸ‘‹ My daughter and I marched in the parade for our local fall festival this weekend! Then we went back to the festival today to wander around. It was so cozy and fun. We came home with caramel kettle corn and a few other goodies, and I'm not sure how much of it will survive until Monday. After a day like that, all I want is a big bowl of soup and a warm slice of homemade bread. So this week I'm sharing two of each. Mix and match however you like! πŸ₯£ Classic Minestrone Soup Loaded...

Hi friends! It's finally fall, and I couldn't be happier about it! The mornings are cool, the heat is gone, and I've been dying to turn my oven back on. Sweatshirt weather is my favorite time of year, and I've already started thinking about what I'm making for Thanksgiving. Here's what's new and updated this week: 🌽 Corn Pudding: NewIt's creamy, a little sweet, and easy to make. It's a side dish that everyone loves. I think it's going to be on my Thanksgiving table for years to come. Corn...

Hi friends! πŸ‘‹ We went to the county fair the other night, and I think that's officially the start of fall for me. We saw all the animals. The goats, the cows, the bunnies with ears longer than my arm, and my friend's llamas, who were looking very proud of themselves. We even saw kangaroos and a porcupine! Then we ate our way through the fairgrounds, because what's the point of going if you don't come home a little too full? My husband got a deep-fried strawberry shortcake, which might be the...
