🍳 4 Weekend Breakfasts That'll Make You Forget It's Monday Tomorrow

Hi friends! πŸ‘‹

Can we talk about how the first few days of school are somehow more exhausting than the entire summer combined? I'm back in my classroom now, plus I've got my own kids' schedules to juggle, and by 4 pm I am absolutely done. Anyone else?

So this week I'm leaning into weekend breakfast. The slow, cozy kind you actually get to sit down for, once the school week is finally behind you.

Here's what's cooking:

πŸ₯” Loaded Hashbrowns β€” crispy, cheesy, loaded up with all the good stuff. This one disappears fast at my house.

🍳 Sausage Biscuits and Gravy Casserole β€” everything you love about biscuits and gravy, baked into one pan so nobody's standing at the stove all morning.

πŸ₯ Cinnamon Rolls β€” soft, gooey, and worth waking up for. Or just eat them warm from the oven at 2 pm. I won't tell.

🧁 Spice Muffins β€” the easy one of the bunch, but just as cozy as the rest.

I hope these bring a little comfort to your weekend, however busy this school year is already feeling. Thanks for being here, friends. It means more than you know.

Warmly,

❀️ Heidi (aka Lulu)

Hi friends! πŸ‘‹ My daughter and I marched in the parade for our local fall festival this weekend! Then we went back to the festival today to wander around. It was so cozy and fun. We came home with caramel kettle corn and a few other goodies, and I'm not sure how much of it will survive until Monday. After a day like that, all I want is a big bowl of soup and a warm slice of homemade bread. So this week I'm sharing two of each. Mix and match however you like! πŸ₯£ Classic Minestrone Soup Loaded...

Hi friends! It's finally fall, and I couldn't be happier about it! The mornings are cool, the heat is gone, and I've been dying to turn my oven back on. Sweatshirt weather is my favorite time of year, and I've already started thinking about what I'm making for Thanksgiving. Here's what's new and updated this week: 🌽 Corn Pudding: NewIt's creamy, a little sweet, and easy to make. It's a side dish that everyone loves. I think it's going to be on my Thanksgiving table for years to come. Corn...

Hi friends! πŸ‘‹ We went to the county fair the other night, and I think that's officially the start of fall for me. We saw all the animals. The goats, the cows, the bunnies with ears longer than my arm, and my friend's llamas, who were looking very proud of themselves. We even saw kangaroos and a porcupine! Then we ate our way through the fairgrounds, because what's the point of going if you don't come home a little too full? My husband got a deep-fried strawberry shortcake, which might be the...
