Hi friends! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend! We had cousins visiting this weekend, and it was so much fun spending time together. The house was a little louder, the kitchen was a little busier, and we made lots of great memories. I always love weekends like that, even if they leave me needing a little extra coffee afterward! Since we're in the middle of summer and it's way too hot to keep the oven running, I thought this would be the perfect time to share a few of my favorite icebox desserts. They're cool, creamy, easy to make, and perfect for everything from family dinners to backyard barbecues. This week's recipes: π Lemon Icebox Cake β Bright, creamy, and full of fresh lemon flavor with layers that get even better after chilling. π« Chocolate Icebox Cake β Rich chocolate, fluffy whipped topping, and chocolate wafers come together for an old-fashioned dessert everyone loves. π No-Bake Banana Pudding Cake β Everything you love about banana pudding in an easy, no-bake cake that's always a crowd-pleaser. π₯ S'mores Pie β All the flavors of classic campfire s'mores, no campfire required! I hope one (or all!) of these sweet treats helps you stay cool this week. Thanks so much for being here and for letting me be a small part of your kitchen. I appreciate you more than you know! Warmly, β€οΈ Heidi (aka Lulu) |

Hi friends! Quick update from my week: I dragged all three kids to the dentist, and somehow we walked out with zero cavities. I'm calling that a win and treating myself accordingly (with pie, obviously). Here's what's new and updated this week: π Apple Pan Dowdy (New) β an old-school apple dessert that's somewhere between a pie and a cobbler, with a "dowdy" crust you break up and press back into the filling. If you've never made one, this is your sign. Apple Pan Dowdy π Chicken Stir Fry β...
Hi friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! Ours has been a little chaotic in the best way. Our son just got home from a mission trip to Panama, so we spent the weekend celebrating and soaking up all his stories. It's the kind of tired-but-full feeling that makes you grateful for a slow cooker doing the work while life happens around it. Speaking of which... It's that time of year again. Backpacks are packed, alarms are set, and dinner somehow still needs to happen every single...
Hi friends! I hope you're having a great week! We spent Monday and Tuesday at an amusement and water park with some family friends, and it was such a fun (and exhausting!) way to kick off the week. Between the roller coasters and the water slides, I think we covered every possible way to get soaked and dizzy at the same time. In between all the splashing and screaming (the good kind), I managed to sneak in some time in the kitchen too. Here's what's new this week: 7UP Cake π₯€ 7UP Cake (New)...
